Marty Update

Well, I dont’ want to jinx it but Marty’s been clean for so long now, I think he’s recovered. btmao and I have discussed it, so we’ll watch him a bit more, and probably start his Lactus regiment late next month.

Young black kitten in Area 2

btmao heard the distinctive cries of the lost/abandoned babies while serving Sasha and Buddy dinner.

Post-natal cat with collar on the prowl

btmao spotted one such in the no-man’s land between Areas 1 and 2 when doing the evening rounds earlier. I wonder if the young calico we spotted earlier was a relation.

Benny’s hanging around too.

Well, he’s in a different location of Area 2 than we expected to see him, but he looks ok. I just wish he’d settle down and want for friendship and/or food! His ear is still untipped.

The tortie spotted again.

Well, she/he is still there this morning. Will find a time to go check out her situation with Ian’s family.
Actually, given Ian’s record for territorialism, I’m surprised he’s peacefully sitting nearby instead of running her/him off.

a new furry on the block in Area 2, at Sasha’s and Buddy’s usual food joint.
Yeah, I went with btmao on the evening feeding rounds and spotted a young skinny girl scuttling about, probably 4-6 months, a pretty calico with a long tail. Ravenous, wild-eyed (typical of lost kitt), and won’t allow contact.
