Date: Thu, 2 Nov 2006 13:24:23 +0800Just want to give everyone an update on Pink Panther and Dash but before I forget, I think the link I sent out yesterday for Fiona’s blog is not correct. Here’s the right link: http://felinestrange.multiply.com/journal.
Anyway..
Dash – Still warded, he’s very needy and scared so Fiona and a couple of volunteers are going down to console Dash so that he can quickly build up his immune system and return back to the cattery to recuperate. Thanks to a few volunteers who made contribution to Fiona to try to help her out with the bills. So far Dash’s bill is about $700 and Fiona has collected $250. Quite a strain, but we’re still trying and hoping the vet will give us some discount, but supposedly the vet has already given us very good rates.
Pink Panther – The vet pronounced no hope for Pink Panther as the red blood cells are all completely eaten up. So, Fiona will discharge Pink Panther today and bring her back to the cattery to let her live out her remaining days. It’s so heartbreaking cos she used to be such a happy girl and she’s so friendly to humans. Here’s a write-up on Pink Panther and picture as well. (http://pawpledge.blogspot.com/2006/11/pink-panther-is-dying.html) She’s so shrunken, she looks like a kitten now. So unlike when Fiona first found her. Please pray for her that she’ll pass on peacefully.
For those who has a little time to spare, please do visit these kitties (Dash at Companion Animal Clinic and Pink Panther at Phyllis’ cattery in Punggol). I think all they need now is lots of prayer, and lots of TLC.
Thank you all for listening, your prayers and your contribution.
Regards,
Lynn Lam
