Tiny Smartie is a female black and white kitten with a cute little zigzag tail.

Cuddle me! No gap too big for me to close!

Bright-eyed and healthy, she’s got GUMPTION to spare. Just about a month old, she’s barely mastered her wobbly limbs. But already she’s reaching for vertical horizons like she’s got spider and monkey in her blood.

Are you the one for me?

Small in size, this little cat is big on heart and love. She is supremely friendly, affectionate and vocal.

She craves attention so much she will literally go out on a limb for it. So her adopter must be willing to go out on a limb for her too.

Smartie’s adopter must also be able to care for her and be there for her, especially during these crucial months of her physical and mental development.

Her adopter must also commit to sterilize her when she reaches 6 months of age.

Homeseeker: Jerry

(Must read: Cat care refs.)

Jerry: Scritches! Keep them coming, please

Jerry is a cool genteel cat, estimated to be 8 to 10 years old.

A mix-breed with semi-long fur, this old but healthy boy is a large cat with long limbs, which he balances with a cute bunny tail.

He is mostly calm and quiet, but is highly responsive, and will come when called.

He loves people, and he gets along with dogs. In fact, he is fine with anything as long as he’s the only cat.

Already sterilised when found, he has been vaccinated and litter-box trained.

Come read Jerry’s story here

Save Orphan Bears: End Russia’s Cruel Den Hunts

From the free Click to Give @ Rainforest.site. Please help.

Bear cub orphaned by Russian annual bear killing

Bear cub orphaned by Russian annual bear killing

During Russia’s annual bear hunt, hibernating mother bears are lured out of their dens by dogs to be shot and killed, leaving their infant cubs to freeze or starve to death.

Please urge Prime Minister Putin to ban the cruel practice of den-hunting, which orphans thousands of bears each year.

Sign the petition below and tell a friend.

I was aware of this barbarity since quite a few years ago, and am surprised it is still ongoing. I just did a search using the term “russia + bear + den hunt” and was disgusted to be greeted with commercial sites promoting such hunts, from the States to Europe and beyond.

But there are people trying to help. It’s still not too late so please, please help by signing the petition.
