Yesterday, I posted the story of the 3 abused cats dead at Pasir Ris St 21 that appeared in the Straits Times, and added some thoughts I have about the situation in good old Singapore. I also added the pdf of the spca witness appeals. It contained 4 other appeals in addition to this case. The first appeal was for this poor kitten found dead in Bukit Panjang:
Yesterday’s Today carried a tiny singaporesnippet about this case:
A kitten has been found dead with wire around its neck and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty (SPCA) is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and prosecution of the culprits.
There are currently no witnesses to the case at Blk 211, Bukit Batok St 21. The SPCA received a report around 11am on Sunday from a member of the public. The body has been sent to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority for a post-mortem and a police report will be lodged. On Saturday, the SPCA had reported about three cats found dead at Pasir Ris after they were doused with thinner.
