This newbie with untipped ears was first sighted by me on Thursday morning, in Bambi’s territory.

She was chatty but not hungry, and was too comfortable with humans to be a stray. She seemed to be looking for someone or something. I estimated her to about 6 months old.

Yesterday evening, after visiting the cattery, we walked home from the bus-stop, hoping to find the missing Bambi. Instead of Bambi, we met her for the second time, comfortably lounging at a corner at the side of the eatery. When a bunch of kids whizzed by on bicycles, she was totally nonchalant and was calmly accepting my head scritches. Her inability to discern danger was another sign of her domesticated nature.

Later the same evening, after we fed Omi, we saw her blatantly begging for food in the eatery. Was she a new abandonee or a newly moved-in free-ranging pet? It doesn’t matter to us. She’s a beautiful spotted tabby with large eyes, very pretty indeed. Anyone interested in adopting her?

We are naming her Twinkie, in honour of her prominent nose which reminds us of Twinkle (scroll down to the last picture for a clear view of le nose.)
